The Frozen Tundra Of Lambeau Field.

Published by Ron at 10:35 pm under Randumb Thoughts, Sports

It’s cold and snowing outside.  This is my kind of weather.  There’s a brisk north wind, the snow is practically blowing sideways, and it’s just cold and sharp and definitively winter outside.  It’s days like today I wish I could have my life narrated by The Voice of God himself, John Facenda.

Walking in slow motion in a cool leather coat, hair blowing in the wind, face turned towards the wind in defiance of the cold, breath coming out of my nose and mouth in white puffs… Maybe it’s weird, but on days like today I yearn for a killer voiceover and awesome bombastic music playing behind me.

Even better, you can get your narrated-by John-Facenda-life introduced by the other Voice of God, Bob Sheppard:

“Presenting the Blog Machine, #1, Ron Hogan..Ron Hogan, Blog Machine #1.” ;)

He can do my introductions when I go into a room. That way I get the best of both worlds!

Also, if I could get Barry Melrose to enthuse about me in the post-game show while hanging out with Charles Barkley, that’d be epic.

Well, Barry IS between jobs at the moment, so he’s available. ;)

And I honestly have no idea WHY Barry got fired so quickly.
